Who We Are

CMS Consulting Group was born in 1995, when owner and founder Charles LaPadula, who at the time was the IT director for a mid-sized advertising company in Rahway, New Jersey, felt passionately that organizations of every size deserved the same quality Information Technology support enjoyed by Fortune 500 companies. His passion stemmed from his extensive experience managing software development and IT support services for hundreds of clients as well as all internal IT operations of the advertising company.

He recognized that small and mid-sized organizations make up more than 99% of the marketplace, yet they largely suffer from inadequate IT support, making them less productive and efficient. His idea was to build a company that would provide small and mid-sized businesses across the country enterprise quality IT services without the onerous costs of building in-house systems and hiring a team of IT professionals. Since 1995 CMS Consulting Group has done just that.
